The dream of owning a place like this is a distant dream for me, so for the time being I will settle for a holiday similar to this in a gorgeous hotel, how about the Canaves Oia Hotel in Santorini? I'll leave you to enjoy the views...

There is truly no better place than the ocean! Whenever I visit the ocean, I often think to myself 'there is no place I would rather be in this world'.
When I was a teenager, I was an exchange student in Greece for a summer. It was wonderful - the host family had a modest vacation home in a seaside town on the Mediterranean, and we would eat fresh apricots and figs from the garden. This post brought back some good memories!

Greece always looks so clean and blue! it must be the best of mornings to wake up with a view like that, the morning sun slanting and shimmering across the water and glinting in your sleepy eyes!
Beautiful! We don't have a view of the ocean, but our home has atrium windows that look out to the woods. It is so nice not to look out at houses.
I spent my 1st anniversary on Santorini. (We were living on Crete at the time.) It was magical.
Greece is my dream vacation.
